Took these last year, pre-Oppo. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! reminded me, figured I’d post a few pics.
The M35 series were well-represented. As one guy said to me about owning on e: “Why not? They’re cheap.” Most have multi-fuel Diesel engines, which appeals to the prepper in all of us.
The M38A1 was the military precursor to the classic Willys CJ-5. This Jeep made the transition from the classic “flatfender” look made famous by the Willys MB/Ford GPW to curved fenders.

What is the truck that’s bigger than a Jeep but smaller than the big truck? It’s like a pickup truck the size of the hummvee I think?

That doesn’t narrow it down much. Talking about the M715 maybe?
Or the Dodge M37?

If I was gonna get a huge military truck, I’d spring for an M939 series 5-ton truck. Same general footprint for parking purposes, similar cost of maintenance, WAY more power and capability.

They appeal to me, but on the other hand, I don’t even have a use for a deuce and a half. Plus that’s not a Jeep!

Agreed. If I ever buy a pickup, that’s the one I want.

They ride much better, too.
